What is the difference between these and coreless sticks?

The gallery shows a pale aromatic coating around a slender bamboo-colored support with colored lower ends. This familiar stick format is easy to place in a holder made for a narrow bamboo core. By contrast, a coreless stick is aromatic material through its full width and may need a different holder opening.

What should you expect from the aroma?

We list these as Vietnamese-origin, agarwood-led incense sticks. Because incense is burned, the experience combines aromatic material with combustion and room airflow; it is not the same as gently heating loose chips or wearing oud oil. Perception can change with the batch, room size, ventilation, holder position and the person smelling it.

How should you burn an agarwood incense stick?

1. Place a compatible holder on a stable, non-combustible surface where falling ash will be contained.
2. Insert the lower core securely. Confirm that the stick stands or rests at the angle intended by the holder without leaning toward nearby objects.
3. Light the coated tip, allow it to catch, then gently extinguish the flame so the stick smolders.
4. Use in a well-ventilated area. Start with one stick and increase fresh airflow if the smoke or fragrance becomes uncomfortable.
5. Keep the burning stick away from curtains, shelves, paper and drafts. Never leave it unattended, and keep children and pets away.
6. Let ash and the holder cool fully before handling or disposal.
