Which size and pack combinations are available?

All eight variants are currently listed InStock. Select both Size and Pack to see the live result before checkout. Larger size bands create a different visual format, but they are not automatically higher-resin or collector grade; our prices reflect the current product configuration.

How is this product different from Ant Nest Fragments?

Ant Nest Fragments is a separate product with only 5/10/30 g pack selection and lower current prices. Whole Pieces adds three dimensional bands and eight specific size/weight combinations. The two pages should not be treated as the same lot or as proof of an identical aroma, species, resin concentration or report coverage.

Product Report and Batch Details

Our gallery includes VNA LAB report A-160924056, dated September 16, 2024, for a referenced 2 g sample recorded at 40 mm. The report states Aquilaria crassna, “Natural Agarwood,” VNA grade A and no treatment. Contact us if you would like us to confirm current report-to-batch mapping for your selected size and pack.

Our gallery helps you compare the natural colour, grain, shape and approximate scale of the pictured material. Agarwood varies from piece to piece, so the pack you receive will have its own pattern and outline. If a particular visual feature is important, contact us for a recent batch photo before ordering.

How should a larger piece be heated?

Do not assume an entire larger piece should be burned at once. If the material can be separated without unsafe cutting, begin with a small fragment that fits the heating surface; otherwise use an appropriately sized device and follow its instructions. The product page does not prescribe destructive cutting or a fixed dose.

For an electric/resin heater, start at a low setting and raise heat gradually; no universal 120–140°C or 170–240°C setting applies to every piece and device. Never burn charcoal indoors. The CDC warns that burning charcoal produces carbon monoxide. If choosing charcoal, use it only in an open-air outdoor location away from doors, windows and vents, with a charcoal-rated burner on a non-combustible surface. Keep children, pets and combustibles away and supervise until the charcoal and ash are fully extinguished and cold.

Best Uses for Whole Pieces

Whole pieces are especially appealing for display, collecting, gifting and careful portioning for aromatic heating. Their larger natural forms create a stronger visual presence than fragments. If you need material for manufacturing or distillation, contact us for a dedicated specification.

How should Whole Pieces be stored?

• Keep them dry in a clean, closed container away from direct sun and strong odors.
• Do not add fragrance oil or water; doing so changes the material and later evaluation.
• Retain the selected size/pack label and any report or lot mapping.
• Photograph material that arrives damp, moldy or outside the selected size band before use.

Ant Nest Whole Pieces FAQ

Does the 11–25 cm option mean every piece is 25 cm?

No. It is a size band for that variant. Ask for a current photo with scale if a precise dimension matters.

Are larger pieces guaranteed to contain more resin?

No. Dimensions alone do not measure resin percentage, density, oil yield or aroma performance.

Does the report cover all eight variants?

Not automatically. It describes a dated 2 g sample and 40 mm entry from submitted 100 g material. Current variant-to-report mapping must be confirmed.

Is Ant Nest an internationally standardized grade?

No. It is our product label, not a harmonized grade or proven formation mechanism.

What heater temperature should I use?

No single setting is guaranteed. Start low, increase gradually and reduce or stop heat when the material rapidly blackens or produces harsh smoke.

Can an altered or heated piece be returned?

Please review our current Returns & Refunds policy before heating, wearing, resizing or otherwise altering the product. If anything arrives damaged or different from your order, photograph it before use and contact us within seven calendar days.
