Agarwood Compressed Pellets — The Easiest Way to Burn Oud

Agarwood Pellets are made from natural Vietnamese oud chips that have been cleaned, finely ground, and compressed into small, uniform discs — with no additives, glue, or artificial fragrances. The result is pure agarwood in the most convenient form: just place a pellet on lit charcoal and enjoy.

If you’ve never burned agarwood before, pellets are the simplest starting point — no breaking chips, no guessing how much to use. One pellet per session is all you need. They’re also included in our Agarwood Starter Kit for exactly this reason.

Three Grades Available

We offer three grades of pellets, each made from different quality Vietnamese oud chips. The higher the grade, the richer and more complex the fragrance:

Grade C — Tiger Pellets: Made from cleaned Tiger agarwood bark. Light, pleasant scent with mild sweetness. The most affordable option — perfect for daily use, gifting, or anyone new to oud. Great for scenting a room regularly without worrying about cost.

Grade B — Special Blend: Made from a blend of AA-grade Vietnamese oud chips (90%) with select two-sided chips (10%). Noticeably richer and warmer than Grade C, with better depth and longer-lasting fragrance. The sweet spot between value and quality.

Grade A — Premium Gold: Made from the finest AAAA/AAA two-sided Vietnamese oud chips — the highest quality raw material. Produces a deep, luxurious, and long-lasting aroma with exceptional complexity. For those who want the best pellet experience available.

Scent Comparison

All three grades are 100% natural Vietnamese agarwood — the difference is in the raw material quality:

Grade C → light, clean, mildly sweet — everyday burning
Grade B → warm, richer, more depth — elevated daily experience
Grade A → deep, complex, luxurious — special occasions and connoisseurs

Pellet Specifications

Each pellet is approximately 1.6cm diameter, 0.6–0.7cm thick, and weighs about 1 gram. One pellet provides 15–20 minutes of fragrance. The compact size makes them easy to store, travel with, and share.

How to Use Pellets

Charcoal method (easiest): Light a piece of activated charcoal, wait until it turns white-hot, and place one pellet directly on top. The pellet will slowly smolder and release its fragrance over 15–20 minutes. Use a ceramic or copper burner to catch the ash.

Electric burner method: Place a pellet on an electric incense heater set to 120–160°C. This method gives a cleaner, smoke-free experience and draws out the fragrance more gradually. Especially recommended for Grade A pellets to enjoy every layer of scent.

Why Choose Pellets Over Chips?

Pellets and raw agarwood chips produce the same authentic fragrance — they’re made from the same wood. The difference is convenience. Pellets are pre-portioned (1 pellet = 1 session), uniform in size, and burn more evenly than irregular chip pieces. They’re also easier to gift and more practical for travel.

Storage Tips
