No single home test can prove every agarwood claim. Scent, color, weight and resin pattern can help describe an item, but they do not independently prove species, geographic origin, grade or legal source. Do not soak jewelry or burn a sample only to “test” it: water can damage wood, cord or finish, and burning is destructive and creates smoke and fire risk.
